In the meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Climate Change, it has been revealed that there are more than 600 illegal housing societies in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Chairman CDA Noor Alamin Mengal disclosed in the meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Climate Change that there are 150 illegal housing societies in Islamabad and 318 in Rawalpindi; Fateh Jang also has around 100 illegal housing societies.
The chairperson of the Standing Committee inquired about what CDA is doing against illegal societies. CDA should issue a list of illegal societies, and the public should be informed about illegal societies through advertisements.
